Contact usFrequently asked questions
What ages is it for?
From age 4, with no upper age limit. Adults can learn too: when they start, they can choose a memory program with calm sessions and no timers.
Are the lessons in Spanish or English?
Both. Every lesson, game and exam for kids works in English and in Spanish: switch with the ES | EN toggle at the top of any page. Bilingual families can practice math in either language. The adults' memory program comes in both languages too.
Do I need a physical Soroban?
No. The platform includes an interactive virtual Soroban. We do recommend having a physical one to complement practice.
What does the free plan include?
One profile with the first 7 lessons, the 15 kyu ones (getting to know the Soroban, direct addition and subtraction, and the number 5), the interactive Soroban and a basic parent dashboard. Anzan (mental math) is in the paid plans. On the free plan, progress is saved only in the browser of the device you use: if you clear its data or switch devices, it's lost.
How do Hero Family scholarships work?
Each Hero Family subscription pays for 2 full scholarships for children whose families can't pay. A scholarship stays active as long as the subscription paying for it does. If you cancel, the child keeps their seat until the end of their school term, so no one loses access mid-course. We show scholarships funded and scholarships assigned separately: when there are more sponsors than children ready for a seat, the funded scholarships wait until a partner school assigns them.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription whenever you want, with no penalty. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a full refund within the first 7 days if you're not satisfied.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), processed securely by Stripe.
